I found out yesterday that we lost one of our covenmates to a car accident. I am really at a loss.

The interview on Saturday went well - not enough hours for my time and transportation though...well - the pay really sucks too.

Wow...after feeding the cats this morning, I went back to bed. I slept until 2pm today - I rarely sleep in that late, even when I'm sick...

Once I got my ass up, I ate a sandwich, then prepared paperwork for the state tax board - yipee.

I have an interview for a retail job tomorrow afternoon - it would be nice if I got it - even if it may be part time. In any case, the job hunt will go on.

Am I'm still waiting on my studies material for my pharmacy tech training (for my future 'real' job - lol).

Now - I think I'll watch a movie or two -maybe some scary shit.

I know this woman! She grew up with us - use to babysit us on occasion too!

They have an ordinance around here that there can't be any loud noises AFTER 10 pm, but nothing about the morning really.



Our former landlord KNEW Scott and I both worked nights, yet he would consistently get up in the summer and cut grass, weed whack the bushes, etc., especially around our basement suite bedroom window. And they allowed their daughter to practice piano at 7 am, their son would dribble a lacrosse wooden ball across the floor, etc.



Not to mention that in the winter, since they left at 8 am, they would turn OFF the heat to save money. Not turn it DOWN, but OFF.

I wish some enterprising person would build a set of apartments for people who like it QUIET. I would move there in a New York minute. No one with kids allowed, no one who practices loud musical instruments, and NO outside maintenance till afternoon.

If I just bought two ink cartridges in March, and barely use my printer - why is the ink gone?

I spoke to a rep two days ago - dude tried to get me to 'buy' two more cartridges...I had to lay the smackdown on him.



I should be getting free replacements in a few days.

5. One of your cats is using it to barter for more catnip

Modern consumer line inkjet printers are some of the most inefficient products on the market today. Because they keep trying to get higher and higher print resolution out of them, the jets keep getting smaller and smaller, and more likely to clog.



So what happens is, you start the printer, it has to run a cleaning cycle to clear out whatever ink has dried in the jets - it uses a LOT of ink to do this and you end up getting significantly less mileage from your cartridges.



Dell inkjets are generally built by Lexmark - which has one of the highest total cost of ownership levels in the industry. Cheap printers, expensive and low-volume inks and toners.



And Dell makes it a double-whammy by keeping their inks proprietary as long as possible so you are forced to buy from them and pay their prices.



...just saying.

Lexmark used to come with spyware as well, this will not be detected by your computer because it is part of lexmarks software *coughs* lol



I have the same problem with the ink vanishing on mine and I have a HPphoto smart printer.

I need to print some old family pics for my sisters; I was able to scan them, and now, on to sizing and printing. This is gonna' take awhile...

(Especially with Whiskers constantly getting in the way on my desk).



I guess at some point later on today/tonight, I'll hang out here for awhile...try to have a lil' fun here and catch up with VR friends after the weeks of worry and stress. Shit - I need to get out more, period. Maybe I'll check out the dive bar down the street...uh - maybe not.
